Aram Langhans Posted May 11, 2024 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I got home from our 6 week camping trip yesterday but was too tired to go out and try my luck. But about 10:15 I thought I would venture out to the front yard and see if I could see anything. It was faint, but I aimed the Q3 at it and got this: Welcome, dear visitor! So, I was happy enough to drag myself out of the house for a 15 mile drive up the Yakima River Canyon away from city lights. I was pleasantly surprised and spent 30 minutes looking and trying different things. Here is one of the Q3 shots I got. I did not take too many with the Q3 as I really needed something wider so switched to my Nikon where I could get 14mm, but those shots are not for this forum.
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Here is a link to the Nikon shots taken with the 14-30/4 Z on the Z7ii. Mysteriously it was set to 15mm instead of 14. 5 sec, f4.5, ISO 2000 and very slight noise reduction in Lightroom 6. In camera noise reduction was off. https://www.flickr.com/photos/24330215@N06/albums/72177720316914309/ 1
