Steve, it was the same experience for me. It’s focussing ‘limits’ was, when using it in the field, it’s strength. Simple, analogue use, tack sharp.  Never had any problem with it. Took it around the world in 70’s, 80’s and 90’s as a backup to my R6.2/R7 kit. Small, built like (half) a brick, with the same heft and density as a modern day iPhone…

My wife still has a 35B somewhere. What would be really interesting would be if they could make a full frame digital camera that size. That would finally demonstrate that the so-called miniaturisation strength of modern electronics had delivered on its promise.
