Urushi Posted January 12, 2024 Share #1 Â Posted January 12, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Anyone have issue attaching Leica M lens to the Techart LM-EA9 adapter? Â I started with my cheaper lens a Leica 50 Elmar-M f2.8 and a Voigtlander 35mm f 2.5. I couldn't get either to fully attach properly. Are these lenses not compatible or do I have a bad adapter? Not sure I want to risk putting my much more expensive lenses on this thing.

It's the Techart. If you can return it, get another brand. Techart auto-focus is generally speaking a bad idea anyway even if the copy you had worked. I mean I know it might not last long but I thought they were supposed to work relatively well. What do you recommend instead? I could get the Voigt close focus adapter. spydrxx Posted January 12, 2024 Share #4 Â Posted January 12, 2024 My experience with the Techart adapter is that it needs lots of light to focus properly, that means nearly always shooting with the lens wide open (or close to it).

Thank you for the response. hmm I wonder if I should buy another one or just go with the Voigtlander close focus one.
