Dennis Harper Posted January 3, 2024 Share #1  Posted January 3, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I’m curious if anyone can comment on the M bayonet mount on this lens. The serial number is 732XXX. I’ve read that the lens was only produced with a screw mount. It sure looks like a well done mod if indeed it was originally a screw mount. Welcome, dear visitor! rtai Posted January 3, 2024 Share #2 Â Posted January 3, 2024 You can see the cut out on the LTM to M adapter in your photo.
TomB_tx Posted January 3, 2024 Share #3  Posted January 3, 2024 You can see the 3 semi-circular cutouts on the larger thin flange that identify a ltm to M mount adapter. It’s common for people not to notice, as a lens with adapter looks a lot like a native M mount. The adapter should just unscrew if not held on by strong loctite

rtai Posted January 4, 2024 Share #5  Posted January 4, 2024 (edited) I have one in black paint. The Summarex is definitely a character lens. Very sharp at point of focus and creamy. It’s an old lens so watch out for the lighting outdoors. This one was taken at max aperture close up by window light with M10M focused with live view. It’s a small file but you can still see the left eye is sharp. Click on the image for a better look. Welcome, dear visitor!
