A thread for all your photos with multiple, massive technical faults, but which you still want to look at. Out of focus, blurred, badly framed or cropped, terrible lighting. Camera club judges would have a field day with them.

But something keeps drawing you back - you put your hands over your face - but still look at them through your fingers.

Let's see them!

Today I was at the Monet Marmottan exhibition in Madrid (paintings usually housed in the Musée Marmottan in Paris), which is Monet’s private collection of his own paintings which he never sold, and of other painters which he purchased/ received.

Anyway, there was a lightshow of his paintings as part of the exhibition. A bit gimmicky, but not bad.

I decided to take a picture and reckoned I could handhold it at 1/6th of a second. Only when I pressed the shutter button did I realise that the exposure time was actually six seconds and not 1/6. I think I pulled the camera away after a couple of seconds but still the result is interesting.

I've posted this here before. A classic double exposure, but on a 4x5" negative. From a quarry in the Lake District.

Was a while ago but IIRC I got a frustrated for some now forgotten reason, smashed the shutter release and jerked the camera to vent off a little steam.

The steam comes every 2 minutes and it was not the plan to have it on my shot, each time I was late to snap a clear view 🙃
