I have the 75 and I agree although I don't often go that long on my landscape shots the 75 delivers for me when I do (also M9).

Bought my 75mm f2.5 thirteen years ago and yes it is an excellent, versatile lens.  Film or digital, colour or b&w, landscape, street or close-up - no problem!
