Lens is limited to 100 pieces, but apparently now you have to sign a pre-nup to fight scalping on the second hand market - a legally binding contract for 2 years granting Leica the right to step in if you intend to sell it and buy it off you for the RRP.
IMHO this is only delaying the Silver Summilux 50 f/1.2 problem for two years, but nice of Leica to at least try... Also, who will control and watch over second hand sales?

What do you mean pre-nup?
The noct 1.2 silver is crazy as soon as it’s available on so called market

Solid or paint?

This lens is solid Titanium and is numbered. Limited to 100 units.

You have to sign a contract agreement not to resell the lens within 2 years unless it is sold back to Leica.

I like solid titanium, for folding knife handles. Titanium is a very durable material. There is no way I could hope to afford to pay for this Ti Noctilux, but, I am glad to know that such a wonderful creation exists.

I would love to see a copy of that agreement 🙂.

I had to sign something similar when I bought my dog, only I am not allowed to sell or give him away ever. If I had to give him up for any reason it has to be back to the breeder for 50% of what I paid. I also had to get him desexed at 1 year old and was not allowed to breed from him before that or enter him in any shows ever (not that I would).

I am very off topic, but such contracts do exist.

Was lucky enough to grab a limited special edition 28mm... all these Leica limited special editions seem to be a great investment. If you can get your hands on one, just get it.

But for god's sake, put it to good use!

Kind of ironic Leica wants to beat the resale scrapers. Leicas ARE collectibles. Part of the Leica soul and marketing strategy. In these price segments, doesn't really make a difference whether someone makes an extra buck.

This video save me money, the alu is more buttery smooth, fiuhhhh 😮‍💨

He didn’t say that; there is more resistance for both aperture ring and focus ring on the new lens, but just as smooth as the chrome f/1.2.  He preferred the Titan controls, especially the aperture ring (except he doesn’t plan on moving it from wide open 🤪).

A pre-nup (prenuptial agreement) is a written contract between a couple (you and your noctilux titan) before marriage or civil union (purchase) that specifies what happens when your union eventually ends (you trying to sell the noctilux).

On 15/09/2025 it will cost 116.500 € :)

Jokes aside, I hope this means a new Noctilux is on the horizon with lower MFD..

When I finally persuaded Leica that an accepted quote, with a deposit, made a binding contract to make my silver chrome Monochrom, I agreed to sign an NDA agreement that I wouldn’t post pictures of it, or sell it for a number of years (I can’t recall) - there was a significant penalty for breach (something like €30,000).

I was pretty pissed off at the time, but the restrictioins and penalties didn’t bother me - the camera was, and still is, a keeper.

I remembered the story Overgaard has on his website about Leica wanting to NDA his ass for 10K or so 6 months after they custom engraved "Sexy" on his M.

Actually, no.  When the camera was released, I just asked if I could have it in silverchrome (with the script writing on top, like the M9P).  It probably cost $1,000 kiwi or so.  My avatar is the top plate.  It’s currently on holiday in Wetzlar (I dropped it, dipshit).

I like one-offs, so my silverchrome Monochrom has brown ostriche print leather, my M-A is black paint (by Leica), with black ostriche print leather and I have an M10-D in black chrome.  A happy little bunch!
