I couldn't find any topics about this lens, so I created one myself.

I never tried the original edition, but the sample images on the product page look extremely interesting. Yes, it might be a one-trick pony for portraits, but you can't deny that the trick with swirling background is pretty neat

It doesn't seem available for the M mount, but maybe someone tried it on a different camera system?

i dont think the M mount version has coupling - there is a note on the page saying liveview only

It was showing as available a couple of days ago when the lens was announced. Perhaps they sold out the first batch and are making another. M mount is popular because you can adapt it to multiple cameras or couple it with the autofocus adapter for Sony and Nikon

ive tried on the  old SL601, both the original [version 1], and the Zenit Helios 40 [both from a friend], really nice rendering.

Oh, wow. That makes it way less interesting to me  I don't enjoy using Live View to focus
