Shallow aperture clicks / CLA question

Hello everyone 

I have a 1960s 35:2 8e lens where the aperture clicks feel quite worn out (the clicks are very smooth / non existent in some cases). 
 

Is this something that can be improved (made more clicky) in a standard CLA , or is it indicative of a worn part that needs replacement ?

Not sure on the 8e.  But I have a 35 pre fle that I just had Youxin CLA.  The aperture ring basically had almost no clicks.  He cleaned and lubricated the aperture ring and it clicks perfectly now.  I'm guessing it gets gunk buildup in the detents?

Thanks Shawn, great yes sounds promising.  This lens is off to DAG so I assume will get fixed up either way : D

He’ll get it sorted out for you! Be very specific on your cover letter what you want him to do.
