fotografr Posted July 4, 2023 Share #1  Posted July 4, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) My wife and I were out for a walk in our neighborhood and heard the horn of an old car down the street. As it got closer, we saw that it was a neighborhood parade consisting of kids, their parents, and a beautiful 1929 Model A Ford. Mostly, the spectators were just people looking out their windows or sitting in their driveways, but a couple of bikers pulled onto the sidewalk to watch. As we walked past the bikers, my wife said to them, "This is why we love the east side." M10M/28 Ultron II asph Welcome, dear visitor! jaapv Posted July 4, 2023 Share #2  Posted July 4, 2023 That is an interesting and fun photograph! At first I doubted the 1929 dating as that was the year that Ford transitioned to an intermediate and later high radiator. I suspect this is an early example.

I suspect this is an early example. Initially I thought it was a 1931, but when photographing the car earlier this morning while parked on the street I noticed the license plate frame that read 1929. The one in my photo is virtually identical to this one: https://www.hemmings.com/auction/1929-ford-model-a-rockville-md-910542/sold Edited July 4, 2023 by fotografr
jaapv Posted July 4, 2023 Share #4  Posted July 4, 2023 Hard to tell at the different angle; I think that one has the intermediate radiator. But Ford was messing around with specifications that year and these cars have of course been worked on for many years. I really like the B&W treatment BTW.

I haven't tried the M11M, but the M10M is my all time favorite digital Leica.
