chris_tribble Posted September 9, 2023 Share #21  Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Well - got my copy yesterday I'm pleasantly surprised. It handles beautiufully, I look the focus throw - and it focuses easily. I don't even find the framelines a problem. I used manual lens selection to set coding for a Macro Elmar and there are no vignetting issues. All in all a keeper 🙂  Thanks for various inputs. Click on the images below for a larger view... chris_tribble Posted September 9, 2023 Share #22  Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) As a last offering (displacement activity as I still have a couple of MA dissertations to grade!) I thought I'd test RF focusing against EVF (using EVF2). I used the logo on the ruler as the main reference point, and hoped to get the 10 as sharp as possible.  I was amused to see that I seemed to get better results with the RF! I was also getting good results hand held. Overall, very happy 🙂 Image #1 WITH EVF (on tripod) Welcome, dear visitor! chris_tribble Posted September 27, 2023 Share #24  Posted September 27, 2023 ... and to complete the story, having the 35 summicron Asph + the Zeiss 90 has been a real treat. I look forward to future journeys with just these two lenses. The 90 REALLY holds up in terms of colour and resolution - even with the M10-R's larger sensor. See below - despite the ridiculous specular highlights, you can still see the guy's fishing rod.
