Just received this little gem and for the price I paid, I will say the construction exceeds my expectation.  The only thing that I want to bring up is the recess on the lens mount is a bit shallow, without putting much pressure on the lens release button of the camera, the lens can come loose.  Will go and out and shoot some photos with it later.

All photos were taken with M9P, only exposure was adjusted. 

Apart from expected vignetting, there is quite a bit of corner smearing, even at f/5.6. This lens is not for landscape but to me, it’s a great little lens for street snaps. Will be great to hear your thoughts.

Mounted this lens on a different M and when I pressed the lens release button, the lens was unlocked. So it is more like a quick release feature.

smearing at 5.6?  I wonder if this is one of those lenses which would work much better on a film camera.  Like the early CV 25 and 21 f4 lenses.

On the screen here it doesnt look too bad and looks lovely on the camera.

I was asking this myself, too. The 35mm Color Skopar comes to my mind.
