Wolfs head Posted May 11, 2023 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I’m not sure where to ask this, so I’ve posted in several places… I have a CV 50mm APO Lanthar Leica VM mount. I bought a Metabones adaptor to allow me to use it on my Fuji. It seemed a bit stiff when I fitted it, but now I want to remove it and it seems tightly jammed on the lens. Now the question - if I hold the lens in my left hand, adaptor upwards, do I need to turn the adaptor clockwise or anti-clockwise to remove it? dpitt Posted May 23, 2023 Share #2 Posted May 23, 2023 (edited) It is often easier to mount the lens with adapter on the Fuji again. Then unmount the lens from the adapter (or at least losen it). After that unmount the adapter from the body. M mount lenses have to be turned counter clock wise to unmount so that the red dot is aligned with the release knob on the adapter.
