On a more serious note, I'm sure birds are killed by the rotating blades, but one needs to weigh that against the damage to our planet and all life on it that's done by burning fossil fuels.

We were amazed by the breadth of this wind farm when visiting Palm Springs and visiting Joshua Tree National Park (and Nine Palms).
