yeahyoung Posted April 21, 2023 Share #1  Posted April 21, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to fit a Series 7 filter (13009) into the 12501 hood. The filter can be easily fit into the 12504 (35 lux v1/cron v2) hood. All I needed to do is to unscrew the two parts of the hood, put the filter in and screw the two parts together. The filter is held into place by the two parts of the hood. But with the 12501 hood it does not seem to work this way. The same filter could not be held by the two parts of the hood. It would just slide out. Am I missing a part in the hood? Do I need an adapter for this? Please advise. Thanks! Welcome, dear visitor! rtai Posted April 24, 2023 Share #5  Posted April 24, 2023 The filter isn’t threaded and only sandwiched in place between the hood and lens. It stays in place with no issues.
