Like me, Stefan was a participant in a photography workshop at the weekend in Loft 4 in Offenbach, Germany. But his striking face and his personality were so interesting that I asked him if we wanted to take a few pictures. He agreed and for me it was the personal highlight of the workshop.

Do you primarily use the Noct? I am considering upgrading my M10m to M11m specifically for the Noctilux 50/.95 , and using that for low light street / casual portraits. Main logic in upgrading to M11m is better EVF and low light performance. I have a selection of other Zeiss 1.5 etc but primarily interested in low light portraits such as your fine example here using Noctilux or Summilux.

Hello Brettwayne,

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the M10M. The M11M is really awesome though. I use it with the Visoflex2. But when taking photos like this I always use the manual viewfinder to be sure.

The 1:0.95/50 Noctilux is really heavy in two ways. Firstly in terms of weight and then also in terms of setting. Because I always neglect it a bit, I have to "force" myself to take it with me. In this case it was of course great and fit. I recommend that you test it out before buying to see if it suits you. Thanks for your praise for the picture.

Best wishes, Alex
