Advertisement Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Hi cbretteville, Take a look here Green tea cappuchino. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest leica_mage Posted August 21, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 21, 2006 Excellent! The lighting is a bit hard, but that is a wonderfully minimalistic shot. What film did you use? I have a reason for asking...
cbretteville Posted August 21, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 21, 2006 K.P, Ooops, I for got to mention that: I used XP2 Super at ISO400. Lighting was the downlights above our table and a little ambient light coming in from the left. A very dark and wonderful place - in more ways than one. - C

stuny Posted August 21, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 21, 2006 Carl - You were well advised to try Nobu, especially if it was on expense account. This is a wonderful photo with exquisite simplicity and soft lighting, aided by a touch of grain.
Guest leica_mage Posted August 22, 2006 Share #6 Posted August 22, 2006 Carl, I suspected it was XP2 Super. It has that XP2 Super look. I would love to compare it to the same shot taken with one of my other all-time favourites: Delta 400! Best,
uulrich Posted August 22, 2006 Share #7 Posted August 22, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) That's lovely. A delightful example of a simple subject, which can please the eyes in a photograph. Thanks.
