registering with leica

Mark Turner,  I had the same issue a while back.  I suggest you go back to the dealer and ask them to help you register the camera with Leica.  If they can't do it, they need to contact Leica and ask why the camera cannot be registered.  Or...If the camera is a "grey market" buy, that might be an issue too.  Either case, the dealer should make this right for you.  Personally, if the camera cannot be registered due to its grey market status, I would send it back and ask for a refund.  r/ Mark

Had the same problem.  I'm sorry that it's been a while so I can't remember exactly how long everything took, but I emailed Leica with my serial number and explained the problem.  Within a reasonable time I was able to register my camera.

You can either register the Leica SL2-S Kit (10849) with the SN 12345 or the SL2-S camera (10881), SN 12345 and the SUMMICRON-SL 1:2/50 ASPH lens (11193), SN 12345 as a single product.

If you want, I can also add the products to your account, so please let me know,

Mit freundlichen Gruessen / With kind regards
