Adleraugust Posted March 11, 2023 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Guten Tag, Ich habe an meinem Schraub-Summarit 1.5/50 mm den von Leitz dafür vorgesehenen M 39 Zwischenring für 50 mm Brennweite montiert, um dieses Objektiv auch an meiner M 3 verwenden zu können. Wenn ich das Objektiv dann an der M verriegle, stehen die eingravierten Entfernungen nicht mittig oben (wie es wohl sein sollte) sondern leicht schräg versetzt (von vorn gesehen bei etwa 13 Uhr). Ist das normal, oder stimmt da etwas nicht? Wird die Scharfeinstellung des Meßsuchers evtl. dadurch tangiert? Sebastian Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

My memory is a little fuzzy as to why they offset the marking a little but as I recall, the reason has to do with being able to see the scale when using an accessory finder or lens hood or something like that. Not fuzzy at all Brad; it was for exactly that reason. Not only Leica; Canon (and numerous other manufacturers) LTM bodies/lenses were also designed in this fashion with the very same purpose in mind. Philip.
