Yes, I made the leap...

:)

Here's another from today

The weather has been lousy, otherwise I would have gone walkabout in Liverpool.

Still, things can only get better! We have a week in the Lake District coming up at the beginning of September immediately followed by some time in Edinburgh. So, something may come of that - we'll see.

Just remember DMRs are banned in the 'Challenge' - I must add that rule later tonight :-)

Pity you didn't go to Tatton, the weather wasn't too bad for the couple of hours I was there.

Keep posting those DMR images, wanna swap it for a 5D and a couple of AF lenses? ;-)

Wonderful old Kodachrome-colors.

Have you tried another angle (more direct) and with the lifeguard-display smaller and in one corner maybe?

Best, Ron

No, I haven't, but next time the dog decides that this is the walk that she wants to do, I will try it.

Someone else has said that the DMR gives Kodachrome colours out of the box (as this shot is). They may well be right. I wish I'd bought mine a year ago.

There may be a shot of the beach and the water and an island and this board all in one. If I am lucky. And I buy that 19mm I have had my eye on...
