abrewer Posted August 20, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 20, 2006 Bravo Andy! You made the leap! Are you enjoying the digital back? Have you posted other images that I've failed to take notice? Thanks for sharing. Allan
andybarton Posted August 20, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted August 20, 2006 Yes, I made the leap... Here's another from today http://www.leica-camera-user.com/sports-leisure-time/3728-after-tiger-has-left-all-remains.html The weather has been lousy, otherwise I would have gone walkabout in Liverpool. Still, things can only get better! We have a week in the Lake District coming up at the beginning of September immediately followed by some time in Edinburgh. So, something may come of that - we'll see.
stunsworth Posted August 20, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 20, 2006 Just remember DMRs are banned in the 'Challenge' - I must add that rule later tonight :-) Pity you didn't go to Tatton, the weather wasn't too bad for the couple of hours I was there. Keep posting those DMR images, wanna swap it for a 5D and a couple of AF lenses? ;-)
Guest agnoo Posted August 21, 2006 Share #6 Posted August 21, 2006 Wonderful old Kodachrome-colors. Have you tried another angle (more direct) and with the lifeguard-display smaller and in one corner maybe? Best, Ron
andybarton Posted August 21, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted August 21, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ron No, I haven't, but next time the dog decides that this is the walk that she wants to do, I will try it. Someone else has said that the DMR gives Kodachrome colours out of the box (as this shot is). They may well be right. I wish I'd bought mine a year ago. There may be a shot of the beach and the water and an island and this board all in one. If I am lucky. And I buy that 19mm I have had my eye on...
