But it does depend on what type of lens, issues needing to be addressed, etc.. Leica will also send a quote for the work to be done if the lens is out of warranty too. So that takes time as well. If there are parts needed, or if it has to be done by a specialized technician, you may be waiting (with Leica) for a parts supplier which may take up to months (or not), or end up in a queue.(or not) So there is no answer to be found here.
