Very early iiic

I have just acquired a really early iiic (360164)and am a little confused by the bottom plate, which looks different to other models iiic and iiid I have seen. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? According to Lager camera was in the first delivery batch to Cattaneo starting with the first iiic 360085

Maybe the shutter was modified later during service or Leitz made some minor changes to the inner plate. The sticker with instruction for loading film is missing, otherwise looks like a later version.

I see now that where those little slats are is where the written plate would have been. The round impressions are different to the usual, but typical of early iiic I’ve been told

Hello !

I own the camera 367354. According to Leica delivery is post war (october, 20 1945). Can someone explain to me what is noted here about the 500 cameras 367001 367500 ? Just curious !

it says that these cameras have been equipped with self timer, model IIId. Does your camera have really self timer? Would you post some photos? Another list of serial numbers says that 367326-367500 were delivered as IIIc so without ST. Note mentiones as well date of July 1940. This is assembly date and not delivery date. Many of IIId camnera spent months and even years  in the factory between assembly and delivery. Delivery date of your camera was 1945, it went pretty sure to US Army and it is possible that it was "old/new" stock.
If possible post photos showing front and top of the camera (so that the knobs and levers are visible).

If we believe the notice are IIID, the serial numbers 360001 to 360020, 360040 to 360083, 360106 to 360134 and 367001 to 367500 and are not IIID the numbers 360021 to 360039, 360084 to 360105 and there would be 500 III D between 367001 and 367500 ...I understood well and read well this notice or I am completely wrong !
