This is the thread to post your entries for The Barnack Challenge # 47: "Dangerous"

I hope you all have a winning shot and that you post it here by February 26, 2023.

I will close the thread on the Monday morning (late) of February 27, AEST (my local time). This will allow Northern Hemisphere entrants time till midnight Sunday their time to comply with the closing rule.

Remember to include your camera and lens details and any other interesting info.

I will start submissions now by posting my entry.

Title: Walking on barbed wire.

Camera: Leica 111f, Lens: Summitar 50cm f2

Film: HP5+ @ 400iso, dev in Xtol.

This was shot in Hosier Lane (some of you may be familiar with it) which is now very popular for 'street art' in Melbourne, and photographers and tourists to 'shoot each other' etc. I wander in to find what others may miss. Hence, my pic above. Slinging sneakers etc to hang on powerlines and similar is a common practice around here. It is rumoured to be a signal for a meeting place for drug deals, but I don't know!

Sorry John Robinson. Regrettably your entry is invalid, only because the camera used is NOT a LTM model. If you do possess one, please go ut and shoot your motif again. It will be accepted. I must now delete your entry above.

My apologies for not reading the rules carefully enough.  I guess it is time to put a roll of film into my IIIc ...

Rat Trap, dangerous to rats.

A few days ago I found a rat size hole in the garden compost heap, so put a trap right next to the hole.
