When Andan shops at the traditional market of Tawangmanggu,

I am prepared to stay longer than expected.

A great place to take photographs, so I don’t complain.

The colours in this image are luscious. I really like the way you have composed it from a slightly higher level allowing the viewers to see all the way back in to the market while still leaving the important foreground  with the beautiful fruits. The interaction between Andan and the other woman is quite pleasant. I think I would enjoy shopping at this market.

Once again Brent thank you for your comment. If ever your travels bring you to Java, I will show you around with pleasure. And we can go to the market to take photos while Andan is shopping and talking. Regards. Carl

Not only the colors but the lighting.  Behind and in front the slightly darker portions of the photo help to pull one's attention to your subject.  That wall lamp to the right I guess.  Good picture!  Jim.

Thank you Jim. In the back there is a narrow road where the trucks with produce unload. This road is covered and has skylights that illuminate the background. Nice light there early morning. Regards. Carl.

Beautiful colours and composition, a feast for the eyes!

Thank you Jayne. A feast for the eyes, you are correct. Waliking in the market and spending time there is like watching a film. It is humanity in motion. Regards. Carl
