sometimesmaybe Posted February 3, 2023 Share #1  Posted February 3, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) for something just a tad different 🤓 i acquired this homemade M mount lens from a rather enterprising chap around 2 years ago. he had taken the 38mm f2.8 lens from an old soviet 'point and shoot' camera and wedged it inside a m39/LTM lens body the 'new' lens is RF coupled but not calibrated. all focus is dove via the EVF or liveview. the aperture blades work, but the markings aren't correct. super compact lens - even compared to my 28mm Elmarit APSH v1 Welcome, dear visitor! wizard Posted February 3, 2023 Share #4 Â Posted February 3, 2023 Lovely images, taken with a cool lens! The optics of that lens appear to be very similar to some Japanese point and shoot cameras of yesteryear, possibly a clone. The image results are certainly nice.

84bravo Posted February 3, 2023 Share #7 Â Posted February 3, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Before the war in Ukraine there were a number of sellers in Russia and Ukraine who would offer a variety of these kind of 39mm adapted lenses. The focusing unit from a very cheap Industar lens is often used for the conversion. I found them to be cheap and fun.
