If you remove the opcodes from DNGs taken with the APO Summicron-SL 50 and compare the images in LR to files with the opcodes retained, there is absolutely no distortion for the APO Summicron 50 that needs to be corrected by post-processors. You may have been thinking about the 50 Summilux-SL.

I saw that Camera West has a very nice used 50 Lux SL for sale so I thought I'd see what they'd give me for my perfect, boxed 35 SL APO in trade - and they said $2500 🤣🤣🤣 - I wonder what they gave the poor guy who traded in the 50 Lux!
 

Looks like I'm going to have to wait a little longer to get a used Lux!
