Excellent Image.

I've taken photos of many of his buildings. The one thing you never have to be concerned with is parallax correction. There is never a straight vertical reference.

Have any more, would love to see them.

thanks wally

it was very surprising when i was allowed to discover this construction method - what kind of ideas go through the mind of so many architects - endless?

yes you are right....no need to worry about straight lines.....gorgeous   :)

unfortunately i don't have any more photos, but what about your photos?    show them.....

Some of the latest architecture could not have been done without the emergence of the  computer, making possible buildings that exceed even the architects' imagination.  Unfortunately some buildings have resulted which demonstrate what the computer can do rather than what the architect can. Too many new buildings demonstrate what can be done rather than what should be done.

I've previously posted lots of Gehry's work here and in other threads but surely I can repost some. But lots were done with other cameras so mustn't do those.

Regards.

Fishdance, in Meriken Park, Kobe, Japan. Designed by Gehry in 1987.

This is a scan from a Kodachrome I shot in 1992. As far as I remember Fishdance was a cafe/restaurant.
