Willwors Posted January 17, 2023 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi - I have a D-Lux 109 bought new in early 2018. Recently I’ve noticed a kidney-shaped mark on the left-hand side of each image. I can’t see that this is anything to do with the lens, which appears clean and unmarked, so I suspect the camera needs to go in for repair or service. Does anybody have recommendation for a digital Leica repair shop in London? I do half wonder whether it would be economical to repair and given I have had the camera for 5 years and taken it round the world whether I may just stump up for a replacement. Many thanks Will

earleygallery Posted January 18, 2023 Share #2 Posted January 18, 2023 This is probably some dust that has found its way onto the sensor. Leica Mayfair is probably your best bet.
wda Posted January 18, 2023 Share #3 Posted January 18, 2023 The camera is excellent, but prone to sucking in dust particles over time. Some clear themselves, with continued use. If not, contact customer services at Leica London. And welcome to the forum!
