KevB4 Posted January 15, 2023 Share #1 Posted January 15, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Apologies if this has been asked before but being new to Leica and the app I’m confused with the file formats and sizes. When I bought the camera and set it to DNG only I got large DNG files to transfer. However now I am trying DNG and JPEG it seems I’m getting full size JPEG but only preview DNGs? Please could someone explain and should I just go back to DNG? Welcome, dear visitor! andy3009 Posted September 27, 2023 Share #2 Posted September 27, 2023 Hi @KevB4 don't see an answer here but I'm experiencing exactly what you describe. I assume you went back to DNG only, if you wanted to wirelessly transfer DNGs?
KevB4 Posted September 27, 2023 Author Share #3 Posted September 27, 2023 I did go back to DNG in the end and gave up with the app all together. Even more disappointing was the lack of response I got from Leica when I raised the issue with them. The last I heard was back in February this year when I was told by Leica Support that it might be a bug and was currently being investigated and I should be patient. Here we are almost in October and still unresolved.
