sometimesmaybe Posted January 6, 2023 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) during our portrait session, Anna and I got chatting about her favorite chinese photographer Ren Hang (wiki link). she spent about 10 mins taking me through his work. given Anna's keen interest, i suggested we should shoot some images in homage of Ren's work. Anna jumped at the suggestion. i hope this short explanation gives a little insight into Anna - hence the title of this post. it's not about Elvis, but about the reenactor 🙂 all images were shot on the m246 + CV35mm III f1.2 + 7A 75mm f1.25. everything was lit by natural light with a white bounce board just off camera right Welcome, dear visitor! fotografr Posted January 7, 2023 Share #7 Posted January 7, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nice work, great model. She's got the expressions down. My favorites are the first and last images. The tones in the second one seem off and there's too much loss of detail in the highlight areas of Anna's face. I love that old radio.

benqui Posted January 9, 2023 Share #11 Posted January 9, 2023 Wonderful set of portraits! Which one is my fav? Really not easy to decide, each photo has something special, number 1 the look in her eyes, number 2 her posing, number 3 the mood and number 4 her coolness. I vote for 4 and 1. (but the other are also outstanding)
