fotografr Posted December 23, 2022 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2022 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) In 1979, a long-haired radical hippie named Leon Varjian was elected President of the Wisconsin Student Association on the Madison Campus. During his term, he and his VP, Jim Mallon, had some rather stupendous achievements such as bringing the Statue Of Liberty to frozen Lake Mendota on the UW Campus, having a huge Boom Box Parade, and staging this funeral service for Vern The Mouse. Vern was one of the thousands of lab rats that give their lives in the name of research on this campus, and his funeral service was meant to honor them all. Accordingly, he was awarded a posthumous medal for bravery and buried with full honors. RIP Vern. Welcome, dear visitor!
