    Actually, it's pretty frigid. I was walking next to the river this morning and it was covered with a fresh layer of ice. On top of the ice there were white crystals all over the surface. I have no idea what caused these to form.

    Thanks, Stuart. After the fact I'm realizing I should have gone back with my Q2M. I keep forgetting about the great macro function of that camera and I think an extreme close up of this would have been a lot more interesting.
