Upgrading old Photoshop Elements

My editing needs are not extensive because my little C type 112 takes such good images as shot. I have been running PSE version 11 for many years and am still quite happy it meets my needs. BUT I run my IMAC on MACOS Mojave (10.14.6) which has been superceeded from 32 bit architecture to 64 bit a few years ago ---- PSE11 is 32 bit.

I have revised all my other applications to 64 bit leaving PSE 11 as the sole 32 bit application which prevents me upgrading to enjoy any later MAC 64 bit OS.

PSE upgrades are not cheap, but can anyone advise how to upgrade to an affordable basic PSE and what version options I might have and/or cost.  I am only an occasional amateur user and have explored other editors but always come back to old faithfful. Maybe in true Adobe style my only option will be to purchase the latest version anew even though I do not need all the latest bells and whistle adjustments.

All ideas welcomed.

I generally see new PSE software sold in the $75 to $80 range, US.  Don't get the more expensive premier version which also does video, unless you need it.
