Some more. The top one I took in the early 1970’s with my M3 and 135mm Elmar, printed on Agfa grade 6 paper and sepia toned, my favourite. All copies of darkroom prints.

Emerson paid the local reed cutters to pose for him. These are doing the same job but with modern tools.

Two of the pictures were taken with a Leica 11f and 50mm Elmar.

These are really beautiful, the top one has such a strong and evocative mood.

My first experience with a Barnack in the Alps convinced me that this camera wasn't a mere sentimentality, but a reliable tool; again  too early for the challenge.... 

( the black dots in the sky aren't the result of careless scanning, but these are daws, Corvus monedula )
