A. Cahan Posted November 8, 2022 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a 40mm 1.4 Nokton Classic and the Voigtlander LH-6 Lens hood. The tolerance of the lens hood is so close that most UV filters will not allow the lens hood to be used. I have an old Vivitar K2 that will fit the lens and allow the hood to be used. pippy Posted November 10, 2022 Share #3 Posted November 10, 2022 I've found that Hoya filters allow the hood to slip over the ring. Previously - when I used a generic screw-in hood - I used VHBW filters but the rings of these, like your Vivitar, are too thick for the LH-6 to fit so should be avoided. Philip.
