That's because you're supposed to use tape!

I simply swap the Red glass circle out for Black but I won't go into what it does with traffic flow......:unsure:......

Somebody put the black dot on. They don't come that way from Leica.

I expect you're right, I have an M9 that has a black dot too but it (I think) had been through the a-la-carte as it also has fifferent leather.
