Does this forum have a problem?

Does my computer have a problem, or does the M8 forum have a problem?  

All the preceding threads are posted by "guest" on page #419, and dated December 31, 1969.

Starting after page #405, everything is confused???

 

I still have, and use, my M8.2, and might want to post here, if the forum is working....

@jaapv, am I doing something wrong?

Seems like threads since 2 March 2007 work normally. See my bump below. You may wish to create a new thread and it should appear in page 1 i guess.

Unintentionally, that's what I did.  This thread now has (only) four posts, including this one.  All the older posts somehow are lost??   Who should I report this to?

I don't recall of more than 4 posts (5 now) in this tread. Are you sure the older posts you're referring to don't pertain to another thread?

I'm not sure of anything right now, but many pages at the end of the forum where I wanted to post look like this screen capture below.  Something needs to be corrected.  That's all I'm trying to say.......:

Those are old threads from 2007 or something, not sure why they bother you but i may be missing something .

Er, the date says 1969.  There is page after page of garbage.  They should be fixed, or removed.  I don't want to post there now, because the file seems to be corrupted.  I think I did try, and instead of adding my post to the existing thread, my post became #1 in a new thread.  

I suspect you are right, they are probably from 2007 or so, but the forum thinks they are from December, 1969.  

I don't know who to report this to.  I was hoping @jaapvmight notifiy the right person.  

I think I'll forget about this, and just start a new thread for my questions on the M8 and M8.2 camera.

This is the best advice I could give you too.

You don't have to worry: The pages you found contain threads from 15 years ago and before.

At that time we changed several things in the forum:

• Move o a new server
• Move to a new domain
• Migration to a new forum software

My best guess that at that time (or during a later migration) things weren't moved properly, perhaps this were redirects, pointing to a new location after the threads were moved.

This is definitely no new bug, so don't worry and keep posting. In 15 years we'll look back on our post from now and will wonder what we were talking about

Andreas, thank you!  I'll do as you suggest.  

I do understand - I was worried about creating a problem, or making the existing problem even worse.

 

Fifteen years from now?  Yikes, I'll be in my 90's.
