lens hood and front cap for APO-TELYT-R 3.4/180mm

I have just purchased this lens but it is without the lens hood and front cap. What are the codes, is it possible to find them?

Sliding "long" hood is enough for many situations.

Cap is E60 #14290 if your lens is E60 type (later version).

Welcome to the Forum..

This lens comes in 2 versions. Both have built in lens hoods that you pull forward to use.

There is the later version that Arnaud wrote about above which takes E60 filters.

And an earlier E59 retaining ring version which uses Series 7.5 filters.

Both varieties may have different configurations of CAMS. Different cam configurations allow the lenses to be used with different Leitz/Leica reflex cameras. In the WIKI that Arnaud was nice enough to provide there is a section that explains the cam configurations. Cam configuration is not an issue if you are using the lens on other cameras.

After you "click" the site that Arnaud provided: "Click" "Main page" to the top left & then "Leica Lenses & Camera Accessories" & then "R Mount"
