Crem Posted September 20, 2022 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2022 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I just received the notice from Free Style. I haven't seen this in-stock online for many months. Hope this helps someone that might need it. I ordered the max (3 packs) since they are selling it at MSRP. Most of the online prices I see are insanely marked up (Ebay). https://www.freestylephoto.biz/6031678-Kodak-Portra-400-ISO-35mm-x-36-exp.-5-Pack It will probably be out of stock again in a few hours. Advertisement Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 Hi Crem, Take a look here Portra 400 35mm in-stock at Free Style (USA). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
250swb Posted September 20, 2022 Share #2 Posted September 20, 2022 Kind of what everybody was saying, as soon as the machines are turned on again for producing the next batch everything will be back to normal, until next time.

It seems like a batch sells out fast and it takes months for another batch to be available. Then people resell it on Ebay for a huge markup. I keep hoping the 35mm Portra shortage ends... but I think that may just be wishful thinking.
250swb Posted September 21, 2022 Share #4 Posted September 21, 2022 It could be the machines are still running and it's only the first batch out to dealers that sells out fast. It makes no sense not to meet orders and anticipated demand because the main expense is in flipping the 'ON' switch
ejg1890 Posted September 21, 2022 Share #5 Posted September 21, 2022 (edited) B&H indicates in stock as well. Adorama is still on backorder. The 2 local camera stores have 400 hundred in stock as well - all 5 locations. Edited September 21, 2022 by ejg1890
