Will the 35 Summicron ASPH V2 Metal Lens Hood Fit on the V1?

Sorry if it’s been asked, I could not locate the thread.

I just got the 35 cron ASPH V1 silver on a good deal but I am longing for the silver metal hood of the V2.

1. Will the V2 metal hood fit on the V1?

2. If not, is there anywhere I can purchase something similar in silver?

I don't think so that the second version hood will fit the first version ...

Have a look at the fixing, no external thread on the first Summicron-M asph..

You need the clip-on hood like 12526 or 12524/12504/12528, Wiki said

or inside thread E39 hood

I'd recommend the Haoge LH-M36W Square metal hood as the closest to the v2's metal hood for the v1 model.
Looks great, fits perfectly. 
I have one on my v1 35mm cron ASPH and another on my v1 Elmarit 2.8 28mm. Both in black, but there is a silver version.

They sell on Amazon.

No and Yes. The 12504 hood (1st pic) will fit and can be found in silver but is a rare hood. China made copies can be found on e**y though (2nd pic).

Ian, cheers for these. I was looking around and came across something similar but without the screw. Would you reckon this would fit the Cron ASPH V1 as well?

I have the LH-M36W (with side screw) and can confirm it fits the 35mm Cron ASPH v1 and the 28mm Elmarit ASPH v1. 

I believe your pictures are the Haoge LH-W39T (with locking ring). I don’t have that particular version so can’t personally confirm that it would also fit the same lenses.
