quietglow Posted September 14, 2022 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am considering buying one of the LLL Summi 35 replicas, and I'm wondering if anyone can share some sample shots taken with it in low light & wide open? I shoot lots of night and low light settings and I'd love to get a look at how it flares with light sources in frame. Thanks very much for your time! pippy Posted September 14, 2022 Share #2 Posted September 14, 2022 Not many Night-time shots but there are many photographs in this thread which shows how the LLL 8-Element handles low-light and flare; https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/326477-summicron-352-8-element-vs-light-lens-lab-352-a-direct-comparison/#comments Philip. quietglow Posted September 14, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted September 14, 2022 Oh those are perfect, thank you. I can imagine how the lens will do in low light from those flare patterns. I'll post some photos when I pick one up. Thanks again! Joe

Mech-Dragon Posted September 18, 2022 Share #5 Posted September 18, 2022 Welcome, dear visitor! I want to say this was wide open? I didn't stop down much or at all, as I remember my shutter speed was pretty low. Maybe not super low light, but it was pretty dark in the garage. Shot on Tri-X.
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Shot with the very bright shop lights right in the frame.
