I upgraded from M9 to M11 and find the evf very helpful for prcise focussing. But the bright outlining of the infocused image is distracting and I actually prefer the magnified image without the aid to better nail the focus. Nowhere in the manual describe how to turn the outlining off. Any help?

If the menu is like the m10-r then it’s in your menu.
▸ Select Capture Assistants in the main menu (page 3)

▸ Select Focus Pesking (I think it says focus aid on m11)
▸ Select the desired setting
(Off, Red, Blue, Green, White)

Yes, and you can set up to four different display info profiles that can be cycled through with user defined sets of focus, level, exposure, and composition aids. It's very customizable. See pages 83−84 in the user manual. You can download a manual from Leica or request a printed copy of it. Just got my paper copy today from Germany. I also customized my thumb wheel to change the magnification of the EVF and live view. The M11 and its Visoflex 2 are so much better than my old Leica M-P and its Olympus EVF, which are barely adequate for focusing, and tat EVF is more effective as a composition viewfinder.

I Just Click The Ok Button Till Its Gone When I Don't Want It. Already Setup Out Of Factory, Just Save The Preferred One To Your Favorite Profile If You're As Lazy As Me. Also Not Digging Through Menus, And Having To Set Up 4 (If I Remember Right) For 6 Profiles.  But I'm Lazy Lol Its Better To Do The Work And Utilize The Camera To Its Maximum Extent.
