That 50 ASA CineStill film-stock looks pretty damn nice, I loved it's quality when shooting Vision 3 S16 7203 single perf' stock..........Those were the days, although Kodak's movie film division is doing quite well now apparently with the Vision 3 stocks despite the blind rush to digital cinema imagining. Long may that continue. I missed shooting/filming with film, disliked digital workflow, too many fingers in the pie on set when everyone can see everything too clearly all the time as the camera rolls and of course then everyone has an opinion..........Ah well.

Yes I’m really happy with how the cinestill has come out. I’ve always liked it but with cooler rendering lenses I always seem to get a purpley sky that I find hard to eliminate in post. Took a chance on shooting these with a new-to-me Noc and was glad I did as didn’t have that issue. The de saturated look of the lens really works with this stock I think. And 50 ASA rating certainly helps use the lens

Water level pretty high. I was in Chennai during the monsoons and wasn’t brave enough to be in Varanasi at that time. Fantastic set of photos. I really miss India. I took my Noctilux as my only lens to Delhi and Agra once.

Thanks very much - yes the water was high, I didn't see much of the large steps of the gaits that I was expecting to .  One surprising thing about the Ganges is how fast it flows also.   Pic here to show water level

Good choice of the Noc that must have been nice, I was glad of the results here and suits the subject matter I think
