Morning Sun

New to me 35 Zeiss f2.8 that came yesterday evening. Nice sun this morning, and with a clear morning it was cold, off my porch at -4F (-15C) me in slippers and a robe, cold ankles.

So CL 35mm f2.8 Zeiss C-Biogon

Probably an image overload but tomorrow my little CL will be on the way to Wetzler, was happy to have some sunshine today to use it, even though it was a bit taped together.  It showed its first signs of old age over the weekend when I suddenly realised I had lost the right wheel cover and button.  I then spent an hour or so searching the riverbank, picked up too many squished rabbit poos (yuck), thinking they looked like a round black thing,  but there was no finding it, and apparently it's impossible to put one back on without the camera being opened up anyway.   So, maybe the last ones from me here for a while, I'm already having separation anxiety🙃.   CL and 60 TL on my dog walk today.

Very young, I was at Cannes Film Festival, France, for an interview, for a movie. By the sea on a sidewalk, I noticed a bunch of photographers fighting to take a shot of something. By curiosity, I went to see what was going on. I saw a man on a boat with his pants down, exposing his naked derriere to the photographers!

Later, I learned, it was an American actor, and his name was Jack Nicholson!

For me, he has never changed; he will always be the man with his pants down! lol

Jayne, your woodland scene is impressive and hints at so many potential woodland landscapes therein, in the future.  Sorry to hear about your CL casualty. Most  unusual, unless it accidentally left your hands. Although I do recall an early owner losing his shutter release button while travelling to America with his very new camera. So, it does happen, often without reason; usually without warning. I can't believe you will be long without another camera in your hands.

A beautiful composition Jayne and a great advertisement for the TL60 too.  This one should be featured in the Forum's best-of section.
