"Macbeth shall never vanquished be, until Great Birnam wood to high Dunsinane hill Shall come against him."
The only decent place for shooting yesterday was directly into the sun.

Dunsinane Hill looking towards Birnam Wood (about 20 miles away)
CL + 11-23TL
I took this as a multishot HDR-merge, which is OK in colour, but a bit wasted in B&W. The little spots on the summit are my wife walking across the hill as I was shooting from the hill next door🙂.

I was about to ask to see this in colour, but then realised: my mind can 'see' the colour anyway; and the balance between the boy's expression, the patterns of the cloth and the patterns on the snake is just perfect.

Paul, your desire is my command; but I prefer it in BW. I think BW adds more to the subject and to that look of the kid with the snake; you said it so well. It would be interesting to know how our other forum friends think about it.

You are right - B&W is best - colour adds nothing of importance and the image loses a bit of its 'focus'.
