Keith (M) Posted July 22, 2022 Share #1  Posted July 22, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Intrigued by the results from @Leiniko (ref post #420 in the D-Lux 7 photos thread) I took the plunge and ordered one.  It arrived this afternoon so I have had a quick/short (indoors) test session.  With lens set to AF/Macro & 24mm, there is a sharp, heavy vignette (see photos 1 & 2 below).  At normal AF & 75mm one can gain slightly more magnification without vignette (see photos 3 & 4).  Lots more experimentation needed and hopefully the weather (and insects) will play ball tomorrow.  Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 Hi Keith (M), Take a look here D-Lux 7 With Raynox 250 Macro Converter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Keith (M) Posted July 22, 2022 Author Share #2  Posted July 22, 2022 (edited) Normally my D-Lux 7 is fitted with a B+W 43mm UV filter and the standard lens cap replaced with the JJC ALC-LX100 auto lens 'petal' cap which can close fully over the filter.  The much larger size of the Raynox necessitates removal of the protector and it does not allow the lens to fully retract. Photos below. Welcome, dear visitor!
