budrichard Posted July 21, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 21, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Anthracite 240 has proved to be a reliable performer for me but when I acquired it new I used my typical left eye orientation because of viewing problems with my right eye. I also missed the form factor of my M3. M6 0.85 and M7’s due to lack of wind lever for my thumb purchase. A new lens in my right eye, a MatchTechnical E-Clypse 1.45 variable diopter eyepiece along with a Thumbs-Up with Titanium Komura shutter release have made the camera much easier to use. I typically use a 21mm f2.8 ASPH and zone focus outdoors at f8.0, but indoors at f2.8 was problematical because focusing was difficult. The E-Clypse has made the focusing outdoors and inside much easier. I have also added an EddyCam strap to replace the less than comfortable Leica supplied straps. The EddyCam is much more comfortable. Yesterday shooting a B29 and B24 at our local Airport was a breeze with these additions. Welcome, dear visitor!
