kivis Posted July 20, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 20, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Any wear showing on your Black Chrome M body? I had an M6 awhile back that started showing the chrome look on the edges, but never really seen a black chrome body that has shown significant wear? photos please if you have one to show. My M-A still looks as new as when I bought, going on two years ago.

otto.f Posted July 20, 2022 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2022 I have no photo’s to show, just my honest answer about the Monochrome1. I owned it 10 years and the wear was negligible and rather sympathetic at a few small typical spots prone to wear such as the rounding of the bottomplate
logan2z Posted July 20, 2022 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2022 I've owned my black chrome M-A for more than 4 years and it shows no wear. And, yes, I do use it regularly
TomB_tx Posted July 20, 2022 Share #4 Posted July 20, 2022 Here's my 1985 M6 that I bought in either '85 or '86 and have used ever since. The top edges show light reflections not wear. It has generally lived in a Benser pouch case for travel. Welcome, dear visitor! ktmrider2 Posted July 21, 2022 Share #6 Posted July 21, 2022 Have a black chrome 50th anniversary M4 from. 1975 so almost fifty years old and dealer described it as mint. I would describe it as looking new in-box. I will post photos if I can figure out how.

colint544 Posted July 23, 2022 Share #8 Posted July 23, 2022 My 1975 M5. Bought it in 2013, have put around 150 films through it since. Bit of light silvering around the corners, a few scratches on the baseplate. That's about it. Can't say it's been used hard, though. Welcome, dear visitor!
