I’ve learned the “proper” way to do it would be to paint it and bake it in the oven.

As of now mine is painted all black and it looks horrible. 😂🤷‍♂️ I purchased a replacement one from DAG just in case I decide to sell the camera.

Just strip the paint off and lightly spray with spray paint.  You may have to do several light sprays coats letting it dry in between. It will take about 3 days so be patient. I do them in batches so always have several on hand for future cameras. Use semi-gloss. I’m thinking of doing this not in black but maybe in army green for a new black Q2 just for fun.  I’ve done many for all my digital Ms as well as the larger logos on the SL series.  I’ve consigned them with Popflash Photo and they always note the black logo as an additional quality.
