SL2 Battery Grip

Hello,

I used the battery grip on my SL2 (cause SL2 batteries are the worst), I noticed that the battery inside the camera got empty before the one in the grip which makes no sense cause I had to turn off the camera, take off the grip replace it and place it all backto instead of just switching the one in the grip while leaving the camera on running on the one inside. Is there a way to modify this? Thank you

There are no options. I had similar results. But they don't act always the same

My grip drains the battery in the bottom grip first.  Not sure how it makes the decisions on which to use first…

But I like the grip on my sl2-s

i keep the RRS mount on the sl2 most of the time 

different uses for me mainly.
